• It's pretty common for a classic car to sit for awhile. You won't ever want to stop driving the Proton, but if you did have to park it for awhile, you won't have to clean out the fuel system and rebuild the carburetor like you would with a gasoline engine.

• Electric drive systems are much simpler, so there's just less to go wrong.

• The standard drive system for the Proton is full-time All Wheel Drive. If you don't ever plan on leaving the urban jungle for a real one, other options can be installed.

• For work or play, the large rear cargo area has plenty of space to carry what you need. It also has two large cargo doors to allow easy access.

• The Proton is built with rugged, time-tested solid axles and leaf-springs just like the originals had.

• Different motor options are available, and they all provide more horsepower and torque than the originals ever had. The electric drive system supplies torque in a way that you can feel instantly. Since they provide full torque as soon as you touch the pedal, off-road adventures are even more fun without the need for high/low gearboxes.

• A great feature of the Proton is that the top is completely removable. With one vehicle, you get to have both a hardtop and a convertible.

• It can be painted any color you'd like. The original color palette is always a great choice, but we can do anything else you can dream up.

• The Proton is a perfect business delivery vehicle with plenty of room on the sides for logos. The rear cargo area can be left open and ready to carry whatever you need to transport.

• There's a whole world of aftermarket equipment for these already. From different wheels and tires, to different options for tops, to fender flares, to higher stance or lower - you can make it your own however it pleases you.

• On the mechanical side, there are also plenty of options to tailor everything to exactly your needs. Different motors can be installed depending on how you'd like to use it. We can install limited-slip differentials, or even differential locks. More or fewer battery modules can be installed for longer or shorter range capabilities.
